Today is father's day: Time to say "Thank you"

Today, 19 March 2021, we celebrate Father's Day in South Tyrol, and this day is also a very special occasion for our two girls Gioia Marie and Stella: on this day they can spoil their dad Lukas all around and they do this with full joy!

We take Father's Day as an opportunity to say thank you for all they have done for us. In this difficult current situation we have time to enjoy the precious moments with our family. Family is the place where we find support.

The two girls are very keen to experiment and like nothing better than to gather new experiences - there is certainly no time for boredom, so there is plenty of fun! So the two junior chefs put on their cooking aprons and bake or do handicrafts with the best dad in the world. Gioia Marie and Stella have come up with something very special for Father's Day: crafting fun with modelling clay for young and old - what could be better! It's colourful, easy to shape and children can let their imagination run wild and create unusual figures.

YOU NEED FOR OUR MODELLING CLAY

400 g flour

200 g fine salt

2 tablespoons citric acid

500 ml boiling water

3 tbsp cooking oil

Food colouring

Also: a large bowl and a hand mixer

GO:

As soon as you have all the ingredients, you can start right away: You don't need to mix the ingredients in any particular order. Simply add all the ingredients one by one to a large bowl and mix well with a hand mixer. The only important thing is that you use really boiling water. Tip: We add a pack of Easter egg colour to the boiling water. Then knead the mixture with your hands to form a smooth dough. Shelf life tip: We put the dough in a nylon bag or freezer bag.
