The first thing you will notice upon arrival is that the hotel you have chosen, the DAS GERSTL Alpine Retreat, is located beautifully, uniquely. A clear view into the valley below as well as of the surrounding mountains makes the hotel the perfect panoramic hotel in South Tyrol and will leave you speechless with awe. Our panoramic terrace is a real highlight and the hotel is famous for it. Our guests enjoy the view, breathe in the fresh mountain air and let the sun warm their skin. When the sun gets too hot, large sunshades provides some shade.
Our terrace typically fills up in the afternoon, when many guests return from their hikes or bike tours and wish to enjoy a wonderful cake-creation served by our staff at the table (included in the half-board) or want to choose a delicious dish from our new bistro-menu (at an extra charge). It is possible to have breakfast on the terrace as well (upon request). Should the weather not allow you to have breakfast outside, our panoramic restaurant is a great alternative and offers fantastic views, too.
